QUICKIE HOMEMADE GRAVY
This gravy recipe is basic but yummy, its perfect for when you just need to add some moisture to your meal, it works with anything. Just remember to match the stock to the protein in your meal !

Ingredients:

Stock (protein of your choice or vegetable stock)
Plain Flour
Corn Starch (optional)
Butter
Salt
Black Pepper

1. In a frying pan melt 4 tablespoons of butter, gradually add flour or corn starch and whisk to make a roux.

2. Then add 2 cups of the broth (chicken, beef, lamb, depending on your dish), whisk continuous on very low heat or until gravy is at your preferred consistency. Make sure you whisk continuously through the process to make sure the gravy isn't lumpy.

3. Add more or less broth or flour to alter the consistency or amount.
