lasagne rolls
So in the fakeaway experiment kitchen I like to have a bit of fun, thing is I'm not all the way adventous when it comes to food, I like what I like you know.
You wont catch me eating cow tongue like someone recently confessed to me that they love, you know yourself...
I only really play around with things that I already know that I like but I'm determined to broaden my culinary tastebuds !

Till then lets try these lasagne rolls...

Yield: 2 servings
Prep time: 5 mins
Cook time: 30 mins
Total time: 35 mins
Ingredients:
Mince meat 500g
Lasagne sheets
Tomato or red pasta sauce
Chedder Chesse 100g
Bechamel Sauce (white sauce)
Salt
Oregano
Black Pepper
Parsley
Grocery shopping:
Hubmart, Lekki
Prep:
On a chopping board, chop one large onion and two large garlic cloves.
Instructions:
1) On a large skillet, heat olive oil and add the onions and garlic, once transparent add your minced meat.
2) Cook mince stirring occasionally until brown then add salt and let it cook for a further 2 minutes before adding tomato sauce, oregano, parsley and chilli. Stir all together. Reduce the heat and let it simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
3) Once your mince is ready, turn off the heat and set aside.
4) In a deep pot of boiling water, gently add lasagna sheets, laying across each other to ensure they do not stick together. Boil the sheets for approximately 2 minutes, till they are soft enough to fold without breaking.

5) Then remove from the water and place on a dry chopping board.
6) Lay each sheet and being to prepare the lasagna roll by first spreading the white sauce, then spread the cooked mince on one diagonal end then roll to fold.
7) Once each sheet has been stuffed and rolled. Finally top with white sauce then cheese as desired.


8) Place each roll in a large oven dish and bake at medium heat for 7-10 minutes.
DONE) Once the cheese is browned and the sheets are tender, remove from the oven and serve.
Your lasagna rolls are ready !
